To Busy To Exercise?

You think that you don’t have enough time to exercise. Don’t get me wrong I do understand a busy hectic life. We often forget that no matter how healthy we are (or think we are) we should never neglect our body and health.

I meet you on the street and you tell me you are just too busy to exercise I would V8 you in the head. Yea you know the one where the wife keeps knocking the husband in the head for not drinking V8. So if you are unhealthy, there is no excuse.

This page is to give you ideas of how to get back into the swing of exercising. You start exercising your energy will go rise. So the excuse of being to tired or not enough energy is basically an excuse. So get off the couch, get away from the computer, and start exercising.

So what can you do to get back into the swing of things? What can you do if you think you don’t have enough time? Well continue to read below and hopefully I will give you some good ideas, or spark your imagination.

-Don’t pay to have your lawn mowed, do it yourself. Don’t use the rider; use the old fashioned push mower.

-Need chores around the house done. Do it all manually. Don’t use the power tools. Drop the cordless and pick up a screw driver.

-Own a two story, walk up and down your inside stairs while on the phone, between babies nap, while dinner is cooking, or while the wife or husband is bathing the kids.

-You just bought groceries, park at the end of the drive way and carry the groceries the length.

-Stand in front of the mirror and flex. Try to get your muscles to pop out of your skin isosysmetrics.

-Have a home office, buy a treadmill, put it in your home office, use it. While on the phone, ordering supplies, when you take 10 minute breaks.

-Have an office at work, do the same

-Live down town walk to the post office, supply store, grocery store, or where ever you can.

-Take your dog for a walk twice a day.

-Walk to work, If you live to far to walk, ride a bike, If you live to far to ride a bike, park a block or two from work and walk the rest of the way.

-Park your car in the last row, the farthest from the store.

-Don’t take the elevator or escalator, take the stairs

-Work late, join a gym, go dancing, something you can do at night

-When going to the restroom at work, stop and do 10 lunges or bends there and coming back

-Do 10 or more pushups before bed, Do 10 or more after you wake up, Do 10 or more before the bath and when you get out.

-Walk up and down your steps 5 times or more before going in or leaving.

That would be it for now… As you read, the tips above are not typical exercises. They are merely ideas to help you on your way. I am sure if you sat down you could think of some things yourself. When you think of exercise think outside the box, especially if you think you don’t have the time. Now if you don’t have the energy, as you exercise and work out you will notice you have more energy.

To Your Health.
